Umhlabuyalingana Wins KZN Legislature Poetry and Speech Contest

Umhlabuyalingana CMC has emerged victorious in the KZN Legislature Poetry and Speech Contest. Ozabeni Primary represented by Mpendulo Bukhosini took number 1 in poetry, Ekuthukuzeni Primary took number 6 in Speech contest both representing umkhanyakude District and Umhlabuyalingana CMC. 

 The contest saw participation from more than 74 primary schools in the province, with Umkhanyakude District managing to dominate the top 10.

The selection of winners was based on the content of the video, shooting of the clip, gestures and votes. Manguzi News group on Facebook, parents, teachers and learners are thanked for casting their votes.

Contestants won CERTIFICATE and HP Laptop respectively from MTN.
